Whether it\'s the charm and warmth in our small towns, the incredible scenic beauty or the vibrancy of our metropolitan areas, there is something for everyone in Kentucky.</p>\

<p class="bodytextind">Adventure tourism opportunities are endless here in the Bluegrass state. Rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing, cycling, hiking and hunting, to name but a few, are all available amidst breathtaking scenery.  Several destinations offer elk viewing, one of the fastest growing recreational activities in the nation.</p>\

<p class="bodytextind">We have begun gearing up for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games that will be held over 16 days at the Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington.  As the largest equestrian sporting event ever held in the U.S., the games are being held outside of Europe for the first time since they began in 1975.</p>\

<p class="bodytextind">Our Kentucky State Parks are known as the finest in the nation.  The Kentucky Bourbon Trail welcomes visitors from all over the world to sample our signature beverage.  Owensboro is the Bar-B-Q capital of the world and the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, known as the fok arts and crafts capital of Kentucky.  Knott County has been proclaimed the "Elk Capital of the East."  From Pikeville in the eastern Appalachian Mountains to Paducah in the western waterlands and from historic Covington in the northernmost region to Lake Cumberland in south central Kentucky, excitement awaits.</p>\
