Ward Hall is the grandest Greek Revival residence in Kentucky, and one of the finest examples of a mid-nineteenth century classical building in the United States. The more than 12,000-square-foot house was completed circa 1857 and attributed to British-born military engineer and Lexington architect, Major Thomas Lewinski. Tours of this historical mansion are open the first two weekends of every month or by appointment.
Georgetown & Scott County Museum
The Georgetown and Scott County Museum features programs & exhibits celebrating our community history. Located in the historic 1905 Post Office building, the museum offers in-depth information on Scott County and Central Kentucky heritage. The Museum is open for free admission Wednesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
